Dr. Wallace L. Christensen is a native of Idaho, having grown up in Grace. He met his wife, Kim, there and after graduating from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, they relocated to Forest Grove, Oregon to attend Optometry school. Upon receiving his Doctorate Degree in Optometry, they spent time in Salt Lake City, Utah and Vancouver, Washington for his post-doctoral training. Dr. Christensen and his wife moved their growing family back to Idaho and spent several years living in Pocatello where he started his own practice in 1985. They have five children and 6 grandchildren. They now reside near Preston.
Dr. Christensen has spent time doing eye examinations at the Pocatello Womens Correctional Facility. He enjoys working in his yard, tending to his fish ponds, making improvements to his home and spending time with his grandchildren. He and his wife love to travel when they get the chance and seem to enjoy the warmer climates and beautiful scenery.
